A Day At the Pumpkin Patch

What is the fall season without a trip to your nearest (or favourite) pumpkin patch? I’ve gone to the pumpkin patch every year for as long as I can remember. It was always fun when we were little but even as I’ve gotten older I always love going back. It’s a great place to kill a few hours – look at the adorable animals, snap a few great Instagrams, and pick out the perfect pumpkin for some fun DIYs. This year I brought you guys along, and you should be so grateful because I felt super self-conscious taking pictures of the scenery. My greatest fear was that some parent was going to come up to me and yell at me for taking pictures that had their baby in it because let me tell you there were A LOT of babies. Like, everywhere you looked. Cute but also dangerous because I’m a twenty-something who was there with my mom and sisters and no apparent children which might give people the wrong idea. But anyways, I had a blast.

The corn maze is one of my favourite parts. A couple years ago we tried out a different farm and their maze was super hard (and kind of scary) and we actually got lost. It was not a fun time. This one isn’t that big so it’s pretty easy but still fun. Just watch out for tiny kids marching around!

The animals at the pumpkin patch rarely change. There are goats, sheep, pigs, cows, donkeys, and tons and tons of birds. Oh and the bunnies! I love them all. I don’t care that I see them every year; they always make me so happy.
