You guys know by now that I am always looking for the easy way out because, truth be told, I am seriously lazy (not that I think that’s all that much of a surprise to most of you). But that’s why I’m excited about today’s post, which is all about taking the easiest route, in more ways than one.
Let’s talk for a second about washing our hair. I have a lot of hair and it’s curly and tangly and takes a million years to dry … basically, as good as clean hair feels, it’s a pain in the ass to get it that way. I also try and wash my hair as little as possible to preserve all those natural oils and to avoid too much heat damage. The only problem is that it can sometimes (okay, a lot of the time) get a little too, er, does the word ‘dewy’ work for hair? No? Okay, fine, it gets greasy! I know that’s not the most flattering thing to admit but it’s the truth. Which is why I’m a fan of dry shampoo. If I can put off washing my mane I absolutely will! But the question is which dry shampoo to pick?
I think we’ve all been there: standing in the haircare section in front of a wall of products with absolutely no clue which one to choose. I speak from personal experience when I say that not all dry shampoos are made equal! I’ve tried my fair share because I’m always curious about new dry shampoos and finding out which ones really are the best. More often than not, though, I end up with a disappointing product (and not to mention that awful feeling of having wasted money). There are only so many dry shampoos a girl can try before giving up, am I right?! Well, don’t worry because my friends over at Reviews.com have done all the work for us. I’m serious when I say all the work. They’ve spent 45 hours doing research on 54 products and hand-tested 17 different ones to deliver to you the top 5 best dry shampoos. There is 1 overall winner and four runners-up in various categories like ‘best drugstore’ and ‘best for oily hair’. This handy little guide has taken all the guess work out of shopping for dry shampoo and trust me when I say that your hair will thank you. So head on over there (click here to check it out) and check out their post and let me know what you think! Have you tried any of their picks? What’s your favourite dry shampoo? Tell me in the comments!
