A Gift Set From Me to Me

Most people, I’m sure, see gift sets and special holiday bundles and think of all the people on their list that they could get them for. Me? I think of myself. The ‘Perfect Cheese Platter’ set? The ‘Lash Stash’ collection of mascaras? The ‘Gourmet Hot Chocolate’ gift basket? I want it aalll. Do I need it? No. Will I necessarily use it? Maybe. Do I still want it? YES. The point of my spilling my guts about my selfish fantasies is to say that I love a good gift set. So when I saw the new ones that The Body Shop released this holiday season, I may have actually swooned. Swooned! And while I did put a couple on my holiday wish list, I couldn’t help but fulfill a fantasy and buy a gift set for myself.

I have been lusting over their new face masks for a while now but they do come with a $28 price tag, which means that I’ve been debating which one I ought to try out first. This set, at $38, comes with the two that I had been most interested in. So I bought it. Duh. I haven’t had a chance to try them out yet, but you already know that I love a good charcoal mask. I’m also really intrigued by the rose one because I’ve heard a lot of great things about rose face masks (like the Fresh one) and I’m hoping this one measures up. I’ll definitely keep you guys posted!

And just because I chose to buy this set for myself, don’t think you won’t see it on my holiday gift guide in a few weeks! I think this would make a great gift for the beauty lover in your life – it’s way safer than trying to pick a scent or something that can be kind of relative, but still fun and pampering. So stay tuned to see it (and a lot more) on my gift guide! What are you guys adding to your lists this year? Let me know in the comments!
